"Almost there!" My friend, who was driving, had said.
We had pulled off the highway, onto a street that carried us around to the back of the building, where we were to park. My friend said that I was to enter from the back door, which would lead me to the small stage.
I got out of the car along with my friends. "We'll come in and see you from the front. Good luck!" They said, and walked around the corner to the front entrance. I breathed deeply. "Here goes nothing!" and I turned the doorknob.
As I was walking down the hallway towards the stage, I heard excited screams and cheers. "Wow! They really can't wait for me!" I thought.
Before I knew it, I had walked onto the stage, and saw that the building was packed full to the brim with people! I started to panic a bit, because this really didn't look like the inside of a diner. I got to the mic at the front of the stage, and just stood there, taking in the view. A moment later, the band started to play. At first, I wasn't sure what song it was, but when they started playing the track, I knew exactly what it was. It was Greyson's song, Unfriend You. It was a good song choice, considering the situation I was in, but I just had to mouth the word "Why?!" to my friends. All they did was giggle.
When it was time, I started singing the first verse.
"I really thought you were the one, but it was over before it begun. It's so hard for me to walk away, but I know I can't stay."
I was about to sing the next verse, but a different voice started singing instead. It was a very familiar voice; most unmistakable. Out of the shadows, on the other side of the stage, came Greyson Chance.
